Hong's works mainly focus on print, combined with printed matter, photography, installations and poetic text. Hong's early works deal with symbol system and the interpretation between personal and real experience. Her recent works focus on the awareness of problems between time, missing, repetition, and overlap of time and space. By thinking about the “time in time”, she explore the intersubjectivity between print and printing. Through the concepts and methods of printing, Her works serve to project the appearance of unknown.
